Summer's Nearly Gone!
It's been quite a while since I've posted. Melissa and I have had a jam-packed summer of travel and weddings. We went to Vegas in May, BFE Illinois (no offense Ericka!) and Destin, Florida in June, and we're heading for Puerto Vallarta for our 1 year anniversary next month.
In Vegas, we saw Cirque du Soleil Ka and O with O being our favorite. Carrot Top was hilarious and his props were very creative and relevant to current events. I highly recommend his show and he's coming to nearby Tunica this week. We also saw Lance Burton's magic show. I think he's on cocaine because of the way he talks and he is always sniffing. It's an ok show I guess. We didn't win any money, but only blew about $15 on the slots. The sights and shows were the best part.
I was in my buddy Jereme's wedding in Pana, Illinois a week later and then I had an excuse to go to my favorite beach destination, Destin, FL for yet another wedding. July and August have been really hot here in the Land of the Delta Blues. I guess I'm ready for the fall temps.

I had to put this last pic in because Curt and I are giving our best Jack Bauer-esque, secret agent pose. Actually we're watching '24' Day 4 on his ipod.
